China, Shanghai, June 20–23, 2026 – ANTARES FILM DISTRIBUTION successfully showcased its partners' projects and the digital platform ITANTARES at Asia’s largest film market. The company has wrapped up its participation in the Shanghai International Film & TV Market, held from June 20 to 23, 2026, at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in China. The event took place as part of the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival.
The Shanghai International Film Market is the only professional industry event in Asia accredited by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as a Class "A" film market. This year, it set a new attendance record, bringing together approximately 200 exhibitors, including 75 international companies from 15 countries and regions—a 50% increase compared to the previous year. The total floor area of the market reached 12,801 square meters.
Antares Film Distribution operated its own booth on the market floor, featuring films from the company's partners. The booth drew significant interest from international buyers, distributors, and media representatives from around the globe. For the first time, the market adopted an innovative "two-pavilion" format—International and Chinese—enabling participants to efficiently forge cross-cultural business connections. The International Pavilion brought together institutions from Thailand, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Brazil, and Spain.
